I'm fortunate to live, and work, in Borth-y-Gest in North Wales. The village sits amid woodland on the north side of the Traeth Mawr, where the waters of the Glaslyn river flow by on their way from Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) to the Môr Iwerddon (Irish Sea); and the sea comes to visit us twice a day.
This is 'Jabba', my studio, a short commute down the garden path.
The view from my painting table: out over the rooftops of Borth-y Gest to Moelwyn Mawr on the horizon. Sometimes I even manage to get some painting done.
Other-times though, when the tide's in and the water's just how I like it, I'll go out in the canoe; just so I can take some nice photos of my work, you understand.
